We do not ship in our plants. That is, all of our plants are started on site from untreated and/or organic seed and soil. We then nurture them with the best local care to ensure a superior product. Along those same lines, we do not ship out our plants either and only sell on site seven days a week.
In addition to what we grow on site, we feature products from other local growers as well. From our very own cucumbers and dill to the ever popular Anderson Truck Farms Bi-Color Sweet Corn.
In 2020 we added the largest variety of flowers we’ve ever had, with the Benary’s Giant Zinnia remaining our signature flower. For 2021 we have tripled the number of available flowers.

We had an amazing crew working on Saturday! There was 11 of us working together to load up five cords of already cut and split wood! That will be just a little less than half of what we use in a years time, to keep our greenhouses warm! That does put us a little head of the game! Thank you so very much one and all that works so hard to get that all done in one day! Please take some time to look at these happy, cazy, wonderful volunteers! Teamwork makes the dream work! Please stay tuned in for future updates! 🙂 ... See MoreSee Less
Every year I hear people say they must decide between driving to work safely or losing their job. I too own a business and have had to talk to my employees about this concern. As a Police Chief and a business owner, I put people before the business. I recognize that the most important asset I have as a business owner is my staff. From a purely selfish perspective, I recognize that I have invested greatly in my staff through hiring and training. From a decent person’s perspective, I recognize that no job is worth risking another person's life simply to get to the office. As a Police Chief, I know the dangers that exist on Hwy 68 are speeding, tailgating, unsafe passing, distracted driving, poor visibility, not turning on your headlights and brake lights, slippery conditions, and more. Before the weather and roads get bad, I encourage both employees and employers to sit down and talk about situations where it may be too dangerous for employees to drive to work. Discuss scenarios and options for anticipated weather conditions as well as unexpected storms and ice. Planning will not only save someone’s life but it can also help protect the business. - Chief Bill Bolt ... See MoreSee Less
Since John had today off from driving truck, he decided to tackle a few projects around the farm! One of the big projects was getting the wood off of two trailers! That was not an easy job! He also finished rolling up all of the hoses and put them away! In the meantime, I continued to work in the greenhouse. There is always something that needs to be done! I hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend! So please stay tuned in for future updates! ... See MoreSee Less
