We do not ship in our plants. That is, all of our plants are started on site from untreated and/or organic seed and soil. We then nurture them with the best local care to ensure a superior product. Along those same lines, we do not ship out our plants either and only sell on site seven days a week.
In addition to what we grow on site, we feature products from other local growers as well. From our very own cucumbers and dill to the ever popular Anderson Truck Farms Bi-Color Sweet Corn.
In 2020 we added the largest variety of flowers we’ve ever had, with the Benary’s Giant Zinnia remaining our signature flower. For 2021 we have tripled the number of available flowers.

I’ll be back next spring. Liked the cabbage and broccoli. Thanks
What’s that white stuff on the ground? No! It is not snow! That is clean ashes from the three woodstoves that heat our greenhouses! That was Keith’s big project for today! Thank you, Kieth! We are continuing with cleanup! That is always a big project at the end of the season every year! We are about 70% done with cleanup at this time! The next big project will be putting the ground cover down! We are thankful for the moisture, heading our way because that will make the ground cover project much easier! That is a project that we are hoping to tackle this coming Saturday! SO! Please stay tuned in for future updates! Ps...The flower pics are the last of this years blooms! 🙂 ... See MoreSee Less

Love the dog 🐕 ❤️. 😁
Here are some scenes from today! Ramey Turf and Seed delivered the ground cover! Two rolls that are 360 feet long and 15 feet wide! That should be enough to completely cover that whole section! Next season tomatoes, pickling cucumbers and hot peppers will be going in this section! We also worked on cleanup! In the process we found a woolly bear! This one is predicting a normal winter, whatever that is! 😉 ... See MoreSee Less

We had such a beautiful day to work on cleanup! With deep appreciation and gratitude, we want to thank the volunteers that helped out today! The raspberry patch was cleaned up! The tomato area was cleaned up and the posts were pulled! This was done in preparation for putting down ground cover for next season! If possible, we like to put our tomatoes on ground cover with tea post so that we can weave the tomatoes with bailer twine as they grow! The ground cover has many advantages for tomatoes! Not only does it make it mostly weed free, but it helps control the moisture in the ground and how fast the rain gets to the roots! Very often too much rain too fast is what causes tomatoes to crack, so the ground cover slows this process down! Please stay tuned in for future updates on the progress we are making for next season! ... See MoreSee Less
